Description

The Three Greyhounds are located in Soho London, within a short walk of Tottenham Court Road and Soho Square. However, you won't find any other like them. The pub's name is a tribute to the dogs that used to hunt hares in Soho when it was open-air. The Greek Street on which we are situated dates back to 1670s. It is named after the Greek Church located in Hog Lane. Casanova was recorded to have stayed on this street in 1764. Certified records also show that the greyhounds were here in the 1700's as a cafeteria. Another record shows the pub on this spot in 1927. However, licensed premises have been here since at most 1847. The Three Greyhounds is one rare gem in the Nicholson collection of great British pubs. It is known for its distinctive buildings, fascinating history, and lively atmosphere.
